We welcome 6 new artists to Gallery Domingo so we are SHOWIN OFF.

Gallery Domingo is pleased to introduce six newly-added artists, hailing from LA to Denver in SHOWIN OFF, a
one-night group exhibition in Apollo Starr’s legendary Ultra Star Studio/Gallery (6432 Santa Monica Blvd @ Cole)
in Hollywood on June 11th, 2005 from 7pm to midnight.

SHIRO FUJIOKA, aka Anti-Social Worker #925 is a wizard and master
of everything creative.  He is a prolific artist, accomplished musical
genius and turntable DJ.  His visual-art talents are deep and diversified:
aerosol, hand-lettering, stencils, and limited edition figurines.  Gallery
Domingo presents you with a modern-day, urban Renaissance Man.

IKON has been spraying for the last ten years throughout Colorado and the Midwest and is now translating his “ikonic” street style to canvas.  He is the organizer of semi-annual Revelry of Art (7 spray can artists)shows and has participated in semi-annual Nocturnal Mockery (35+ spray can artists) shows for the past two years. Crews are RTDK, Creatures, and –um- Gallery Domingo.

AARON KRATEN was working at a thrift store when he decided one day to make paintings.  Since that day, he has produced 130 paintings and 5800 drawings.  He is a master of self-promotion and his sassy girl paintings and drawings are undeniably attractive and smart.  This artist has a mural at the Laguna Art Museum, is racking up the awards and has been published in magazines eight times already since 2002.

SONIA ROMERO  was born in Los Angeles, California, to artists Nancy and

Frank Romero.  She has been creating, exhibiting, and selling work since

birth practically. Her work has a striking storybook quality, with a little bit

of a dark twist.  She is highly educated in the arts and has too many awards, scholarships and honors to effectively summarize in a short bio.

SUBMIT started four years ago as a personal outlet for this East LA native
and entrepreneur.  He produces everything from ad campaigns to audio
projects.  He's got an important message in his politically charged
propaganda-style art.  Gallery Domingo submits to SUBMIT.

MICHELE YU spends most weekdays professionally preoccupied with science fiction television, but her heart and soul belong to the pen and brush!  She received B.A. degrees in cultural anthropology and visual arts from U.C. San Diego.  Since returning to L.A., she has been building portfolios in production design, concert photography, illustration, and fine art.   She can draw like no one’s business and her work makes us all smile.
